One Dromore Road Development, Greenburgh
One Dromore Road Developmen in the Town of Greenburgh was completed in 2024 providing 45 units of affordable housing on an approximately 2.26 acre site in the Town of Greenburgh and located in the Edgemont Union Free School District. All of the units are affordable to eligible households that earn at or below 40% and 80% of the Westchester County Area Median Income. Westchester County supported this development with funding through the New Homes Land Acquisition Program and the HOME Partnership Program. Additional support was provided by New York State and the Town of Greenburgh provided a PILOT.
In addition, to the new housing, infrastructure improvements were made to the intersection of Central Park Avenue (“CPA”) and Dromore Road along with improvements to Dromore Road itself including improved drainage, new pavement, width of road width was widened in certain spots to improve safety and a new sidewalk was installed from CPA to the development and the entrance to the Greenburgh Nature Center.
